A Sterling Performance

A Sterling Performance is an observational and Participatory documentary of 12 minutes 08 seconds. Its main objective is to show how the theatre performers prepare themselves, on every single details to present it in a show, realistically and thoughtfully. Moreover, its aim is to make audiences aware of creative field of theater is declining due to less physical involvement and more sign up to Tec giants Netflix and Amazon.

FULL DOCUMENTARY

When I first visit the Stirling Community Theatre, my intention was just to take a few shots of actors performing rehearsals for the play. Staying for a while, seeing them act, I felt very attached with their dedication, relationships and hard work. These experienced actors who has already worked in big production were giving their time, energy and dedication for a theatre show, doing which they earn nothing. Also, how bad they must feel, not seeing the youth in the auditorium during the show. Therefore, I decided to make a documentary highlighting these aspects and started doing the research.
